DOUBT

Message of Light - No. 7

"THE SACRED PURPOSE OF DOUBT"

Many people do not choose or neglect creating the time-space to explore seriously their psycho-spiritual nature and getting into the depths of their Existence. Therefore, when they come across ideas that seem foreign to their materialistic perception of the world, their 3D mind refuses to be receptive to the new, feeling rather threatened and maintaining a conservative or defensive stance instead. The highly developed skeptical or rational mind's skill is to doubt excessively, judging harshly that which it does not yet remember to know and attaching fearfully to the logical explanations that promote the illusion of 'the safety of having tangible proof'. It is overly cautious avoiding any possible conscious inner conflict, revealing in this way its underlying insecurity. The rigidly conditioned mind does not ask or explore; it lives on doubting-rejecting new concepts as it needs to cling to this apparent safety.

However people who take the time-space to activate their innate ability to keep a truly open attitude towards consistent purposeful exploration, learn to remember how to discern, bringing their doubt to their service consciously. In this way they are actually re-training the lower or 3D mind to make constructive use of the challenge, bravely transforming the doubt itself into a necessary internal process of awakening the higher or 5D Mind. Consequently, this leads to consistent inner focusing, open awareness and unprejudiced reflection, silent prayer and tuning-in to the inner value of meanings rather than the existing knowledge that comes readily from mass mind conditioning.

In its essence, as I understand it, doubt is the failure of the 3D mind to fulfill its integrity. Behind doubt there is always fear of 'the unseen'. When one doubts, one vacillates not knowing what to believe. There is inner division and lack of trust in the voice of the Heart, i.e. lack of firm reliance on one's integrity.

It is only through creating the time-space and making the effort to take this inner struggle seriously - learning to fully appreciate and to love the doubting process while following closely the vulnerable moments of 'not knowing' with humility - that one can gradually reach the depths within and without. In this way, true answers begin to surface right from the centre of the palace of the Heart.

In other words, one bravely steps into the fire learning to recognise its Light. The purpose of doubt is not to burn the one who has it but to inspire him/her, prompting to conceive and truly understand the pure nature of Faith, which means believing 'the unseen' from the Heart.
